Forgotten Are the Ancients
Where are the Ancients!
Fields of blue
Sparkle thrice,
This Ancient scroll
Pays the highest price
For humanity!
Hundreds and thousands
Die by man's sword,
But No Man is an island
And hatred be roared
Such insanity!
More Ancient beings
Locked away in jars
No eyes shall see
Where they put the stars
Now bring forth.... Christianity!

When sleep, like life, eludes me .......
...... life giving sleep overcomes everyone but me ....
life sapping concienceness drains me ....
My crimson shadowy wraith wakens and fills the slumber with it's grip of dark thoughts ... my mind races my soul cringes .....
The beauty of life but a twinkle in the crushing darkness of dispair ...... a flicker of light, the glimpse of a smile, the warmth of a touch ...... but a trickle .. like a single tear ....
............. the cold bitter dark, unrelenting throbbing, deafening, mindnumbing soul destroying pain!
....... like Ten thousand times Ten black holes ripping through the subatomic fibre

In Another Life
In another life I would have met you first, and I would be the only person on your mind, in your heart
Your eyes would be set solely on me as I would be your focal point
Everything I did would be committed to your memory
You would easily recognize when I was upset,
Or how wide my smile truly is
You would know what my laughter sounds like if I feel something is honestly funny or truly ridiculous
Our flower language would be fully developed far beyond my novice stage
You would have already taught me all about it, and I wouldn't need this book
I would have already had it on a shelf collecting dust since the knowledge would be stored in my head

A Pantoum structured poem. It's an oddly confusing repeating line structure with a penultimate third stanza that flips the irregular structure yet again. A perfect example of the annoying and confusing way my brain operates
